GRANDMA'S TOMATO SOUP MEATLOAF 
1-1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1-2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 can tomato soup
1 egg
Salt & pepper

Mix all ingredients together, reserving 1/2 can of tomato soup for topping. Pat into loaf pan. Top with rest of tomato soup. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

This is my favorite meatloaf! The tomato soup adds a nice flavor. Sometimes I will use saltine cracker crumbs instead of bread crumbs, but only 1/2 cup or so.

My mothers meatloaf recipe is very much like this one, but she added a dry onion soup mix and a few dashes of steak sauce, she used uncooked oatmeal.. She also used tomato soup with rice. Cooked covered for 1/2 the time, then uncovered...Drained the excess fat when uncovering.. It's the best meatloaf recipe ever!!! :)
