Brown 1 pound pork sausage and 1/2 cup chopped onion in skillet; drain. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons flour. Add 16 ounce can tomato sauce, 4 ounces of mushrooms, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper; mix well.
Heat until hot and bubbly, stirring until slightly thickened. Simmer while preparing dough. Separate 1 can of biscuits. Cut each into 4 pieces. Arrange biscuit pieces over hot bubbly mixture which has been put in casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup Mozzarella cheese over top. Bake 12-16 minutes or until golden brown; 400 degrees.
