CABBAGE AND SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 medium onion chopped
1 tsp. garlic
2 tbsp. butter
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 lb. Polish sausage
2 large potatoes, cut in bite size pieces
1 small head cabbage, coarsely chopped
salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. ketchup

Sauté onion and garlic in butter until onion is translucent. Add the chicken broth, sausage, and potatoes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat until potatoes are fork tender. Add cabbage. Just before serving, add the vinegar and ketchup. Serve with a crusty bread.

Serves 4.
