BREAD AND BUTTER RELISH 
1 gallon cucumbers (or zucchini), peeled and diced
4 lg. onions, ground
2 green peppers, ground
2 red peppers, ground
2 oz. pimentos, ground
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. turmeric

1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. mustard seed

Combine all ingredients but 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup vinegar. Cook for 20 minutes. Add flour with 1/4 cup vinegar. Cook to a good boil, stirring so it won't burn. Discard bag of seasonings and put relish in bottle. Makes approximately 6 pints.
