LAYERED BEEF AND VEGETABLES 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 sm. onions, sliced
4 med. potatoes, sliced
3 med. tomatoes, sliced
2 c. chopped cabbage
1 med. green pepper, sliced
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. water
Salt and pepper

1. Brown ground beef and onions in Dutch oven.

2. Add soy sauce.

3. Layer potatoes, salt and pepper potato layer.

4. Layer tomatoes, chopped cabbage, green pepper, salt and pepper.

5. Add 1 cup water and cover.

6. Cook about 30 minutes on medium heat until cabbage and potatoes seem tender when forked.

7. Serve with large utensil by dipping to bottom f layered casserole so each serving has some ingredients. Good one dish meal with salad.
