OATMEAL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. oats

Boil water; add oats. Do not stir. Let sit for 20 minutes.

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

1 stick butter (melt in microwave), 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar - mix well. Add 3 eggs. Blend well. Add 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix well.

Add oats - mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 305 degrees for 30 minutes or when browned, then add the icing that is already mixed - pour over cake - put under broiler until browned and bubbly.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
1/4 c. cream

Mix together.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
