HEARTY BACON POTATO CHOWDER 
8 whole slices of bacon, cut into 1 inch slices
2 c. cubed 1/2 inch red potatoes
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 1/4 c. milk
1 whole regular can cream of chicken soup
1 whole (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drain
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme leaves

In 3 quart saucepan cook bacon over medium heat, heat for 5 minutes; add potatoes and onions. Continued cooking, stir occasionally until potatoes is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients. Continue cooking, stir occasionally until heated through, 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
