CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. uncooked popcorn

Pop in a hot air popper or however you choose. 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c., 1 stick, butter 1 tsp. vanilla

Put popped corn into a double brown bag, remove unpopped kernels. Set aside. Put Karo syrup, sugar, salt and butter into a 1 1/2 quart glass dish. Cook on high in microwave 2 minutes. Stir. Cook an additional 2 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda to dish and stir.

Pour mixture on popcorn and mix with a large spoon. Close. Fold over 2 times. Cook in microwave 1 1/2 minutes. Mix again. Store in covered container when cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
