HAHN'S GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
2 slices bacon
1/2 sm. onion
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Dash of salt
4-6 med. potatoes

Peel, dice, and cook potatoes. Set aside. In skillet fry diced bacon and chopped onions. When done, add brown sugar and vinegar. Let simmer until it forms a syrup. Add cooked potatoes, salt, and heat.
