DEER ROAST 
Clean deer roast thoroughly. Line a large baking dish with aluminum foil. Place roast in dish. Pour two cups water over the roast and cover with foil. Bake at 400 degrees until meat begins to leave the bone. Peel and slice four potatoes, three apples, and three onions.

In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil. Place potatoes, apples, onions, and sauce on roast and continue cooking until tender.
