ONION DILL BREAD | |
1 pkg. hot roll mix (Pillsbury) 1/2 c. cottage cheese 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 2 tsp. dill weed 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt Prepare hot roll mix but when stirring in egg as label directs, add cheese, onion, dill weed, sugar, and salt. Knead dough about five minutes or until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled. On a lightly floured board, shape dough into a loaf. Place in greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Cover with towel and let rise again until doubled. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 50 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when lightly tapped with fingers. Cool 5 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on rack. Make 1 large loaf or 2 small ones. |
