KATHY'S BEEF STEW 
3 lbs. stew beef
1 can French onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. cooking sherry
Fresh mushrooms, onions, carrots, potatoes as desired

Mix soups and sherry, add to stew beef with 2 soup cans water. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Add vegetables as desired and cook for 1 more hour.
