GRANDMA'S RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon, nutmeg or raisins, optional

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease 2 quart casserole. In greased casserole combine rice, sugar and milk; dot with butter. BAke at 300 degrees for 2-2 1/2 hours until rice is tender and pudding is creamy, stirring occasionally. Cool; sprinkle each serving with cinnamon. Store in refrigerator.

Serves 9.
