SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
5 or 6 Cortland apples
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Fill a pie pan 3/4 full with sliced apples. In separate bowl, mix together all of the other ingredients. Spread over the top of the apples. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown at 350 degrees.
