CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. 1 oz. can sweet potatoes

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil over low heat. Stir until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Reduce heat, add sweet potatoes. Baste with syrup. Cover, cook 15 minutes, turning once. Remove cover, baste and cook 15 more minutes.
