MIRIAM'S NEVER FAIL DUMPLINGS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 3 tbsp. shortening 1 egg, well beaten 1/2 tsp. salt 5 tbsp. water Mix flour, and shortening; add water and egg making soft dough. Divide into two parts. Roll out into very thin sheets. Cut into strips or squares and drop into hot broth. Cook until tender. For 2-4 servings, cut recipe in half. |
