CORN BREAD 
2/3 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. milk

Mix sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Add the melted butter and milk. Beat up quickly and bake in large buttered 13 x 9 inch pan in very hot oven 425 degrees. The recipe may be cut in half and baked in 8 inch square pan.
