CABBAGE SALAD 
1/2 head lg. cabbage, sliced thin
2 to 4 green onions with tops sliced thin

Just before serving add:

2 tbsp. sesame seed
1/2 pkg. (3 oz.) Ramen (chicken) noodles broken into small pieces
1/2 c. slivered almonds (toasted in 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar with 1 tablespoons butter)

Toss all ingredients together.

DRESSING:

2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 pkg. chicken seasoning (from Ramon noodles)

Shake well in jar. Chill until just before serving. Pour over cabbage.

This has got to be the easiest and most wonderful salad ever invented. We have to make double batches at my house, and sometimes have to make up more in the middle of the meal. Buying the pre chopped cabbage mixes for coleslaw and the sliced toasted almond salad toppers takes almost all of the work out of this delicious recipe.
