BURRITOS
1 pkg. large tortillas
1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cans Ro-Tel chopped chilies and tomatoes
1 large can refried beans
1 chopped onion (optional)
2 to 3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 head shredded or chopped lettuce
flour to thicken sauce

Fry hamburger with onion. When done, place aside on paper towel to drain. Salt. Place refried beans in glass bowl and microwave for approximately 6 minutes (3 minutes, then stir).

Prepare sauce gravy by browning flour as you would for gravy. Add cans of chilies and tomatoes and a can or two of water. The more water you add, the less taste it will have. Boil until thick, almost like gravy.

May heat tortillas in microwave by taking out of package and placing all or few wrapped in a towel. Time will vary according to number of tortillas. Place shredded cheese, tomatoes and lettuce in bowls. Place some refried beans in center of tortilla. Add hamburger on top and roll up tortilla. Cover with sauce, then sprinkle tomatoes, lettuce and cheese on top.

Makes about 6 large burritos.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
