ITALIAN SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. bulk Italian sausage or 1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, broken up
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 lb. pkg. Creamettes spaghetti
2 tbsp. soft butter
Grated Parmesan cheese

Brown sausage or ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic; drain. Add all the other ingredients, except spaghetti and butter. Simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.

Prepare spaghetti according to directions on package; drain. Toss with butter. Serve sauce over spaghetti and top with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. The spaghetti is delicious served with Pillsbury soft bread sticks.
