ITALIAN TOMATO SOUPSTEW 
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into bite sized pieces
1 (15 oz.) can Italian tomato sauce
7 c. beef stock
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. sliced carrots
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 (10 oz.) box frozen cut string beans
1 green pepper, chopped (optional)
1/4 c. parsley
2 c. frozen tortellini

Combine first 9 ingredients in a large pot and simmer 30 minutes (don't boil). Add string beans, mushrooms, pepper, parsley and tortellini. Simmer 1 hour, adding water as needed to cook tortellini. Serves 10.
