BUFFALO WINGS | |
2 packages chicken wings (allow 8 "fingers" per person or 4 wings). SAUCE: 2/3 c. Louisiana Sauce (or other hot sauce) 2/3 c. water 1/2 c. honey Dash of ground clove Garlic salt to taste 1/2 tsp. arrowroot Rinse wings and cut off tips. Cut wing into two pieces at "elbow" joint, giving 2 fingers. In saucepan combine remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Marinate wings in 1/2 of the sauce 2-4 hours or overnight. Precook marinated wings in microwave 3 minutes at 3/4 power. Baste and put precooked wings under broiler until browned. Serve remaining sauce on side for dipping. |
