TACO SALAD DIP 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can mashed refried beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. (1 1/4 oz.) taco seasoning mix
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 to 3 drops red pepper sauce
1 chopped clove garlic
Sour Cream Topping (below)
Finely shredded lettuce
Shredded cheddar cheese
Corn chips

1. Brown beef in 1 1/2 quart casserole in microwave on high. Stir and drain.

2. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, seasoning mix, onion, green pepper, pepper sauce and garlic. Cover tightly and microwave on high 3 minutes. Stir and spread mixture in 9 inch pie plate. Cover and microwave until hot and bubbly.

3. Mound Sour Cream Topping in center of beef mixture; sprinkle with shredded lettuce and cheese. Serve with corn chips. About 3 1/2 cups dip.

SOUR CREAM TOPPING:

1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. grated American cheese food
1/8 tsp. chili powder
Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
