FROZEN STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
Filling:

1 large pkg. strawberries (16 oz.)
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat at high speed with electric mixer for 15 minutes. Fold in 1/2 pint of whipping cream that has been whipped and sugar added to taste. Pour over crust and sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Freeze and serve frozen.

Topping and Crust:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 chopped nuts

Mix until crumbly. Then put in a large, flat pan. Place in oven at 400°F for 15 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes to keep from burning. Then pat about 3/4 of this mixture on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Save 1/4 to sprinkle on top.
