3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Nestle cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 2 1/2 to 3 quart saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Remove from heat. Add sugar, flour, Nestle cocoa, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir with spoon until batter is well blended and smooth. Stir in 1 1/2 cups Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels and nuts if desired.

Spread in 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack. Cut into 2 inch squares.
