HOT FRIED CABBAGE 
3 strips bacon, cut up
1/4 c. onion, chopped
6 c. cabbage, shredded
3 tbsp. water
Sugar, pepper & dill to taste
1 tbsp. vinegar (cider)

Fry bacon. Save bacon grease and add chopped onion; saute. Add cabbage and water; toss together in electric skillet or large frying pan. Add a bit of sugar, pepper and dill to taste. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar and serve hot.
