GREEN BEANS WITH ONIONS 
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. half and half
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen sm. whole onions, thawed & well drained
2 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen French style green beans, thawed & very well drained
12 slices American Process cheese food
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, mustard, salt and pepper.

Cook and stir over low heat until mixture is bubbly; gradually stir in half and half. Stir in vegetables.

In 8" square baking dish, place 1/3 of vegetable mixture; top with 4 slices cheese. Repeat 2 times, ending with cheese, then nuts. Bake, uncovered 35 minutes or until hot. Refrigerate leftovers.
