PECAN SNOWBALLS | |
1 c. butter flavored Crisco 3/4 c. powdered sugar 2 tbsp. milk or water 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. all purpose flour 1 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked) 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans 1/4 tsp. salt (opt.) Powdered sugar Heat oven to 325 degrees. Beat first four ingredients until creamy, add combined flour, oats, pecans and salt. Mix well. Shape rounded teaspoonful into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 to 18 minutes or until bottom are light golden brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm, cool completely on wire racks. Re-roll in powdered sugar. About 4 dozen. |
