Believe it or not I have never made banana nut bread until this weekend, that's when I tried this recipe. It was easy and turned out so moist. I will store this recipe for future use. I highly recommend you try this recipe.

I made 6 loaves yesterday and had some friends over. They said it was the best they ever had! Next time I think I'll cut done on the sugar though.

I have looked for the perfect banana bread recipe for a long time. I have been able to master things like cheesecakes, souffles, etc. Until now I didn't have a "goto" recipe for banana bread. This is the one! I have shared the results with numerous people and they all agree that it is the best they have ever had.

Since I am not a fan of nuts in my bread, sometimes I add a half cup of mini chocolate chips 10 minutes into the cooking time so they sink only part of the way to the bottom

Taking it to another flavor...

I even mixed it up a little today while I was making this I decided to do a banana bread and try using this as a pumpkin bread base as well.

to do that, omit the bananas, and add the following:

2 additional tablespoons of flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 15 ounce can of pumpkin filling
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

I believe it tastes close to what I get from a well known coffee chain...

This is the first time I made this recipe. It was really moist! I really like it. It was really easy to prepare it. I'm only 7 years old and I made it all by my self!! I really recommend it! I shared it with my friend and she liked it too! I can't wait to have it tomorrow morning and night! I even like the crust! My mom likes it too!!

This by far is the best banana bread recipe! I have add 1 chunked apple, Craisins and miniature chocolate chips and call it Loaded Banana Bread. Have also used crushed pineapple and coconut.

I have made this recipe twice. Love the bread, but gets so brown, almost to burnt. Second time I reduced the temp to 370°F. Still practically burnt. I did check it at about 45 minutes. And wasn't done on inside. What could I be doing wrong?

Would give this ten stars if possible. I used 3/4 cup of black walnuts... (NO other Banana Bread can top this). It is perfection. The black walnuts do not overwhelm the bread, simply enhances the flavors. Will not even share this one. Will freeze one half for later (its that good).
