Very good. I added a tsp. of vanilla, used sour cream instead of milk and added dried cherries and walnuts. But thats just me.

My husband and I just used this recipe and it was one of the best we've ever had. The only modification we made was switching nutmeg for cinnamon. YUMMY. Thank you!

This banana bread turned out very moist and tasty. I did add 1 extra banana and also glazed the top with a powdered sugar glaze. I plan to use this recipe at Christmas for my gift baskets.

I used the sour cream and subbed cinnamon for the nutmeg. I also used 2 cups of mashed bananas as that was what I prepared and I'm unsure how this compares to 3 bananas. My bananas were black and I had kept them in the freezer in their skins so they were very sweet. The bread turned out wonderful.
