1 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. pitted prunes, chopped

Beat oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and blended. Mix flour, salt, soda, and spices. Stir into creamed mixture. Add buttermilk and mix. Stir in nuts and prunes. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
