CHEESY CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. head cabbage
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 strips bacon, optional
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 c. milk
1 can french fried onion rings

Chop cabbage into small pieces and place in 2 quart casserole with water and salt. Microwave at high 10 to 12 minutes, stir after 6 minutes. Drain. Cook bacon 4 minutes on high or until crisp. Crumble.

Mix together crumbled bacon, soup and milk until well blended. Pour over cooked cabbage and mix. Cover and microwave at high 5 to 6 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle onions over top of casserole. Microwave at high 1 to 2 minutes more, uncovered, until lightly bubbling around the edges.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
