LENS CAP COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. nuts
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. powdered sugar

BATTER MIX: Cream together 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3/4 cup sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Add 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder mixed together alternately with 1 cup buttermilk.

TOPPING MIX: Mix 2 teaspoons butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup nutmeats, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

GLAZE MIX: Mix 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla with a small amount of milk.

Put 1/2 batter in 9 x 12 x 2 inch pan, then 1/2 topping mix, repeat. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Dribble glaze mix on top.
