FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 pkg. fettucini noodles
1/2 c. butter
1 c. fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
2/3 c. heavy cream

Cook pasta as directed; drain. Meanwhile, melt butter, remove from heat and gradually stir in cream, 3/4 cup cheese and egg yolk. Pour sauce over hot pasta and toss to coat well. Add additional cheese as desired to taste. Makes 6 cups.
