OLD-FASHIONED VANILLA ICE CREAM
FOR FREEZER
 
10 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
7 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 carton half and half cream

Scald milk in huge saucepan. Mix sugar and flour together in bowl (dry). Add a little flour together in bowl (dry). Add a little hot milk. Add more hot milk (a little at a time) to dry flour-sugar mixture until mixed and pour in large saucepan on stove. Cook 20 minutes on low heat stirring constantly to thicken. Pour over 7 beaten eggs. Add vanilla and put in refrigerator overnight. Add milk to fill ice cream freezer as needed.
