BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
Lg. onion, chopped
1/2 stick butter
4 pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli
1 can mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Saute onion in butter until tender. Add broccoli, frozen, cook until tender. Add soup, cheese, garlic and mushrooms and part of almonds. Stir together gently and pour into large, flat baking dish. Sprinkle with rest of almonds and bread crumbs. Bake at 300 degrees until bubbly.
