MAW MAC'S ROLLS | |
6 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 yeast cakes 1 c. shortening 1 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 1/4 c. lukewarm water Cream sugar and shortening, add boiling water, then cold water. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Add to shortening mix, add eggs, add salt to flour, mix into shortening mixture. Mix well but DO NOT KNEAD. Cover and put into ice box. You can use now or it will keep in ice box for days. When ready to use, make into rolls, let rise in warm place, about 2 hours. Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes. |
