1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten slightly
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. melted butter
8 or 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes or until custard is set.
