STRAWBERRY FIG PRESERVES 
3 c. figs peeled
3 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin

In sauce pan combine all ingredients and mash with potato masher. Bring to a boil slowly, stirring constantly. Cook 15 minutes. Pack in hot sterile jars. Seal.

Variations: blackberry, raspberry, black cherry or other gelatin may be used.
