STRAWBERRY FIG PRESERVE 
2 big boxes strawberry Jell-O
3 c. sugar
6 c. peeled figs

Sort and wash figs. Peel and put them in pot with strawberry Jell-O and sugar. Cook together until thick. In another big pot, boil washed Mason jars and lids together about 15 minutes until they are hot. Fill hot jars with strawberry jam and seal tight, then turn upside down on a bath towel to cool and seal. This makes 2 pints of jam, so to increase, just double everything.
