LAZY DAY TURKEY 
1 turkey, legs and wings removed
5 slices fresh ginger size of quarter
1 med. onion
2 carrots
2 stalks celery

Place turkey in large pot and cover with cold water. Take turkey out and put pot on stove and bring to boil. When boiling put in turkey and vegetables. Bring to a boil. Then turn down the heat and simmer for 45 minutes with a lid on the pot. Then add the wings and legs. Cover again and simmer additional 45 minutes more. Turn off heat and let bird stand 2 hours in the broth with lid on pot. Turkey is now ready to eat. Turkey may be stored in the refrigerator in the broth for later use. Remove vegetables and ginger from the broth. Sauce can be used for light gravy or soup. You will find this turkey moist, flavorful and delicious.
