CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
1 frying size chicken
6 potatoes, peeled
5 lg. carrots, peeled
1 lg. tomato paste
3 med. sized onions
1 lg. bell pepper
1/8 c. soy sauce
1/8 c. Italian dressing
Water
Salt, pepper, garlic and oregano to taste
Bay leaf
Cooking oil

In a large pot brown onion and pepper lightly in cooking oil. Cook chicken about 10 minutes in this mixture. Add spices and seasonings, tomato paste, soy sauce, Italian dressing and water to cover. Cook slowly until almost tender. Add potatoes and carrots and cook until done. Serve with green salad and garlic toast.
