PORK CHOP BAKE 
6 pork chops, 1 inch thick
4 med. potatoes, uncooked, peeled and thinly sliced
1 c. water
1 env. onion soup mix
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, brown chops, drain on absorbent paper. In buttered 2 quart oblong baking dish, arrange potatoes, mushrooms and the chops. In a small bowl combine the onion soup mix with water. Pour over the meat. Cover and bake 1 1/4 hour or until the potatoes are tender. Makes 6 servings.
