MOM'S NOODLES 
6 tbsp. butter
8 oz. fine noodles
1 can clear chicken broth
8 oz. water
1 env. dry Lipton's onion soup
4 oz. fresh or canned sliced mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1 pkg. frozen pea pods
1/4 c. uncooked minute rice

In a large frying pan, brown uncooked noodles in melted butter. Add broth, water, soup, mushrooms, chestnuts and pea pods. Cook 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in rice and continue cooking until done, about 5 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
