1 egg or you can use 2 eggs
Not quite 1/2 c. Spry (Crisco white)
1/2 c. dark red hen molasses
1/2 c. dark coffee hot
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in coffee
2 c. flour, or more
1 c. sugar

Mix together and bake in pan until done at 350 degrees.

FROSTING: Brown sugar or powdered sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons butter and hot water to dissolve. Frost cake.
