BUTTERSCOTCH PECAN ICE BOX
COOKIES
 
1 c. butter
2 well beaten eggs
4 c. flour (judge)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. pecans, chopped fine
2 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. maple flavoring

Cream butter, brown sugar, add beaten eggs and maple flavoring, add dry ingredients and pecans. Shape into square rolls - put in freezer until firm. slice and bake at 350 degrees.
