PRESERVE'S CAKE 
1/2 cup Peach Preserves
1/2 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Cherries
1/2 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Fig Preserves or 1/2 cup Figs
1/2 cup Watermelon Rind Preserves
1/2 cup Black Walnuts
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Molasses or Dark Karo Syrup
1/2 cup Buttermilk
2 cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 Egg
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Allspice
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

If you like add a little more flour. Bake 1 1/2 to 3 hours, or until done in slow oven at 350°F.
