BAKED CHICKEN 
2 tbsp. butter
2 lb. chicken pieces
Paprika

Melt butter in a 1 cup glass cup in microwave oven. Place chicken pieces skin side up in an 8 inch square glass baking dish with thin end toward center and thicker end toward outside. Brush pieces with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.

Cover with waxed paper. Cook in microwave over 12 minutes on high. Turn chicken pieces over. Cook covered 3-4 minutes on high, or until tender. Remove from oven. Cover with foil and let stand 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
