CHOCOLATE CHIPPERS 
1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) chocolate chips
1 box vanilla pudding

Cream Crisco, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Sift flour, salt, soda together and dry pudding to mixture. Stir into creamed mixture. Blend well. Add chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. Makes 3 1/2 dozen. The pudding keeps cookies moist.
