4 slices bacon, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped 1 (1 lb.) can baked beans in sauce 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained 1 (1 lb.) can butter lima beans, drained 1/4 lb. American cheese, cubed 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup ketchup 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Parmesan cheese Lightly brown bacon and onion in large skillet, remove from heat. Put beans, cheese cubes, brown sugar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, in greased baking dish and add bacon and onion. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 1 hour at 350°F. Good picnic casserole. | |

My parents got this recipe from a workmate while visiting them at their home on the Russian River, California. The title on their recipe card read "Mixed Bean Rabbit", so that's what our family has always called it! This recipe is especially good with BBQ... ANY BBQ!
